Celebrating
Heritage: From Ancestors to Children
Damascus,
December 20, 2020
Visit by the children to the Sulaimaniyah
Tekkiye, where they learned about various crafts through direct interactions
with artisans . This event aims to
introduce children to Syrian crafts and handmade works, especially at a time
when technology and electronic games dominate a significant part of their daily
lives. The main goal of the event is to encourage children to explore Syria’s rich
heritage, appreciate its intricate details and history, and dedicate part of
their time to delving deeper into this great civilization.
Additionally, the Artizana Syria project
is dedicated to familiarizing children with their country’s civilization and
instilling in them the historical significance of Syria’s ancient legacy. This
is achieved by bringing them closer to the art, authenticity, and creativity
that our ancestors enjoyed.
